Clinique Chubby Stick | Moisturizing lip colour balm

I received these little beauties for my Christmas and I couldn't contain my excitement! I'm in love with Clinique products but I've never owned their chubby sticks before!

(from top - bottom.
15. Pudgy Peony
16. Voluptuous Violet
11. Two Ton Tomato)

I may of got my hopes up a little though, even though the pink and red toned chubby stick stays put and looks amazing on my lips, the purple one, well, doesn't! I'm a huge fan of purple lips, I hate leaving on a night out without my statement lips so I thought this would be the same! It wasn't and I'm a little let down about it. As you can tell by the photo though, Pudgy Peony and Two Ton Tomato take to my skin but Voluptuous Violet doesn't. Don't get me wrong though, It might just not take on my lips, and you might be the lucky person on which it does! Let me know below if you've used it!

I got them in a 3 set from boots, but you can get the full sizes here for £17.

P.S. LOVE | New Primark Beauty Range.

When it comes to make up i'm very high maintenance and love spending money on the likes of MAC, Benefit and Chanel. So, when Primark released their new beauty range I was very intrigued as already I was seeing a lot of positive reviews from other beauty gurus and bloggers! I picked up a collection on which I'd use, sadly though I couldn't get my hands on the day and night eye palettes and I'll be waiting a while to try and get my hands on them as I don't live near a Primark! Maybe next time though! These products are price ranged between £1 to £1.50.. bargain! Here are a few of the bits I received and my views on them.

These Lip Stains are gorgeous! I'm always nervous about using lip stains in case i can't get the colour of my lips as i'm not allowed to wear bright lip colours to work. So, i test them out at weekends and i adore them! I team the red lip stain up with the red lip gloss i got which i've reviewed down below, and i team the pink lip stain up with my pink lip gloss from smashbox! If you want a long lasting colour then definitely try out lip stains they are completely worth the money.

I don't tend to wear lip gloss that much but this looked a gorgeous shade of dark red so i thought I'd give it a go! I only wear this when I have my red lip stain on as without I feel like this falls off my lips a lot quicker, but after all it is lip gloss and I'm more of a lipstick kind of girl!

When it comes to eye liners I must own at least, about 20! I'm obsessed and can't leave the house without wearing it! So adding these two black eye liners to my collection and getting a pencil sharpener with it was luck as i lost my pencil sharpener for my eye liners! It applies easy to my water line and it lasts for hours, i do have to apply it at least twice a day!

Volumising mascara is my best friend, I have quite short eye lashes and also having blonde eye lashes becomes such a problem for me! I can apply as much mascara as I like but still some lashes peak through! So trying this mascara for a £1 i was pretty sure the results were going to be a nightmare . Boy, was I wrong! This leaves my eyes looking fabulous and covers ever single eye lash, my only moan is that I wish it was a waterproof volumising mascara, but that's the reason why i bought the waterproof mascara. (below)

I'm loving this. I love the thick applicator and I coat this on after I put on the volumising mascara, above. This is a little beauty in my eyes.

Any other Primark beauty products which you recommend?

Sleek | i Divine Palette.

This palette was shoved at the back of my make up collection as the colours were bright and frankly i didn't have the guts to go out with mad eyes each day of the week. But this year i decided for a change and thought i'd go all out to try new and wacky ways of doing my make up!

These are marked '1,2 and 3' because it's the order i applied them onto my eyes!

1. light blue in the inner corners of my eyes
2. blue and pink blended together for the base of my eye
3. lastly, a splash of purple on the outer corner to make your eyes pop and stand out, especially if you have       blue/green eyes

I then done the same underneath my lash line for an added effect, added liner to my top lash line and applied my chanel mascara! I applied my eyeshadow and blended with real technique brushes.

 Here's the finishing look.

I am also right now in a competition over at http://next-route-style.blogspot.co.uk/

All you need to do is click right here and write my name in the comments below the post which is 'Karina Turnbull'. Thank you so much if you do so, and let me know to!

Mascara | LE VOLUME DE CHANEL

For Christmas tucked away in my stocking was a small CHANEL box with this little beauty in it! It is a tester, so was free, but i'm still 100% grateful as my parents had to spend a certain amount to get this! I've always wanted to try this out, but spending £24 on a mascara was a little pricey, especially if i bought it and didn't like it!

I've used this for 3 weeks now, and there's no going back! I'm in love with this, it's like my child, i carry it everywhere with me! I have had some compliments as well which is always a good thing as it then shows it's doing it's job properly! You can buy this from Debenhams as that's where i got this from, or any other stores which has a CHANEL. I'm definitely going to be buying the full size now!

Have you tried CHANEL mascara? What do you think?

L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation

I searched high and low for a high coverage foundation which would work on my skin. I can't wear foundation which is oily and the foundations i tend to buy are. So i came across this little beauty and haven't looked back since! It hides every blemish and matches my skin absolutely perfectly! If you are pale like myself, i chose Natural Ivory as the shade Ivory is what i tend to go for! There's 12 more shades of this foundation and at an affordable price of £9.99. It's very similar to MAC Studio fix, but i don't have a MAC near by and couldn't wait for it being sent out to me so i'm so glad i found this! So if you think MAC is a little too pricey, i'd 100 percent recommend this!

What do you think of L'Oreal products? Love them as much as i do?

Barry M | Limited Edition

I have a lot of Barry M nail polish. At least once a month i will go into my local boots or superdrug and spend a fortune on all things Barry. So when i wandered in a few weeks ago and clocked this gorgeous limited edition polish i had to buy it and try it out!

These photos don't do it justice, it's really hard to photograph such a pale pink glittery polish as it doesn't show up great. None the less, i wanted to show you and you can even try it out yourself as it's definitely not a let down!

A light pink polish with multi-coloured glitter a perfect shade for a night out or just to go for that little bit extra at Christmas time. Two coats to add extra sparkle makes your nails stand out from the crowd! Do note though, it does get a little messy when applying.. glitter gets everywhere. If you are a little less clumsy than me though you might apply it just right with no mess at all! I got this for £3.99 which i thought was such a great buy!

Have you tried it out? Let me know down below in the comments.
