My Favourite Christmas Movies | Blogmas | Day Eleven

I work right up until the 23rd of December and even though work go all out with Christmas I never seem to feel in that Christmas mood, as all I have on my mind is work! So what I usually like to do during the week or so before Christmas is to watch my favourite Christmas movies! I throw on my onesie, grab a hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream, and grab a good old fashion Christmas movie to get me into the spirit!

So, here are my top 5 Christmas movies I can't not watch throughout December!

The Holiday | This might have to be my favourite movie of all time, and no that's not because Jude Law is in it.. well, maybe! But aside from that, it's such a winter warmer, filled with laughs and all the emotions on the run up to Christmas! It brings people together in all sorts of ways and is just such a feel good film!

Elf | Without a doubt one of the funniest films I've watched! It's about Buddy the elf having to adjust to life outside the North Pole, and the hilarity along the way! Really is a feel good, family film!

Love Actually | With such a fantastic cast I knew this film would be a popular Christmas movie! This is a film with a lot of different stories, but each story has a link to one another. I love films that bring people together and this is definitely one of them.

Home Alone | This really doesn't need a introduction as this is without a doubt played every year at Christmas time on TV. It's about a little boy who's left home alone and he gets up to mischief. I don't want to write too much as if you've not watched it, I'd definitely give it a watch.

Matchmaker Santa | This was a film I came across one day while I was watching TV with my Mum. She always finds the cheesy Christmas films which is about love and finding mr right and this is one of these films. You always need to watch one cheesy film at Christmas and I'd definitely recommend this.

July favourites

Sorry about the lack of blog posts lately but been very busy working and had a lot of personal issues going on, but that's me back now! Hurrah!

So i'm going to be telling you about me July Favourites and hopefully you will love them as much as i do and give them a shot! Please note, i have blogged about a few so you can refer to the previous blog posts (i will link them below).

I am going to start with my two Ted Baker make up bags i received, i got one for my birthday and bought one as a little gift to myself!

The first one is the leopard print make up bag. I got this as a gift from my parents for my 19th birthday which was a few weeks ago! I love this! It's so pretty and fits all my makeup in it perfectly! The other reason they bought it and i love it is that it's called, Karina. How awesome is that!?

The second Ted Baker bag is actually a toiletry bag but i bought it for a makeup bag/going out clutch!  It's a pretty light pink/nude colour with a pink bow on the front with a gold stud holding on the bow! It's so spacious inside and literally can hold everything in it, from my makeup to my perfumes, and even my eye shadow palettes!

Next is my all time favourite product of the month! This has basically been a lifesaver to my hair and made it in such good condition! I needed something for my hair to protect it from heat as it was damaging my hair that much my hair was snapping off! So i splashed out and bought Lee Stafford Shampoo and Heat protection spray! Straight away i could feel the difference of how much healthier my hair felt! It did make my hair feel a little dry at first but then as i dried it and applied the heat protection is went straight away and felt nicer and healthier! Now if you ever do buy the heat protection spray always remember spray it a arm length away as any closer it can make your hair sticky, but that's because of the natural oils in it! It cost me £23 for both. A little expensive but does wonder on your locks!

HEAT PROTECTION.

SHAMPOO

Next is the bareMinerals primer in the 15ml bottle. I have two of these, the full size and the smaller one! I got them both from my mum's friend who owns a hair salon and sells the bareMinerals products! I really am in love with this! I have heard a lot of people say that primer doesn't do much and it's a waste of money, but i notice a different when using it! All you do is a use a little bit, about the size of a pea, and apply on your face or eyes. I put it on before my eye shadow, so i apply to the lids of my eyes, do my foundation, then by the time i get around to applying eye shadows it has sunk in and it makes it last even longer on my eyes! It's a great investment! i am also really looking into buying the urban decay primer lotion as well!

ELF cosmetics has been a huge part of my life recently, it's all i've been buying as its cheap and affordable! This is a lipstick or as they are commonly known as 'chubby sticks'. I usually apply a lighter lipstick to start off with then apply this, i am loving this at the moment! It has a glitter through it, which might not be everyone's taste but they do, do others without glitter through! It just makes my lips look amazing! And it's only about £1.50! What a bargain!

Nearly there guys! (honest). My next product is the 'Rimmel wake me up concealer'. Now i didn't want to go along with the hype, but i ran out of my 'collection' concealer and decided after a lot of thinking to get this. Now i wasn't to sure at first as i wasn't impressed as it made my skin a little oily! I then applied the Rimmel face powder to set it and it looks fabulous! It takes away the dark circles under my eyes, and makes me look more fresh and adds a healthy glow! Definitely buy this! It's about £4.99.

Elf beauty haul, final part!

This is the beauty products i was the most excited about receiving as i am a nail polish junkie! I have so many i have lost count! When i found these on Elf i couldn't resist and had to buy it! What did i buy? 14 nail polishes! I might sound mad to you all but these 14 nail polish come in a cube for £15! You get a light cube and a dark cube! I got the lighter one to start off with as its more the colours i wear on a day to day basis! I thought £15 for 14 of them was amazing value as i tend to buy essie and barry m, and for essie it is about £8 just for 1! They apply on so easily and you guys are all missing out!

The photo of my beautiful colourful cube!

If any of you would like a closer look at them or to see what some look like on, just give me a comment below or tweet and i will do that for you!

I hope you enjoyed my beauty haul and i will have another elf haul, very very soon! Excited to hear from you!

Elf beauty haul, part two!

I have heard a lot of people rave about highlighting sticks for your skin and i never understood exactly why they were made! I used to use a white eye shadow which done the job for me perfectly fine! When i went onto 'elf' though i found a cheap highlight and decided id buy it and see what the difference would be! It cost me £1.50 which is amazing as the one i have heard people rave about is the MAC highlight which is about £18 and i didn't want to splash out on something i wouldn't like or would't use!

I will insert the photos first then tell you about why i have fallen in love with this!

Firstly, the all over cover stick basically does what it says on the packaging, it can be used all over your face for a natural glow or can be used to highlight the main parts of your face! I use mine for cheek bones, below eye brows and sometimes on the inner of my eyes to make them pop! Second of all for me it stays on for a good amount of time, i usually throw it in my make up bag and apply every so often if i feel myself i need a touch up! Lastly, it smells of refreshers the sweets! I kid you not! When i first received it i wanted to eat it more than apply it, and that isn't right for a make up to smell so tasty!

Elf beauty haul! (Separated into 3 parts)

I recently came across a website called, elf.  Elf stands for 'eyes, lips and face', clever huh? And it sells affordable make up which ranges from £1.50 to £30. It's an absolute bargain! I'm in love with this website and bought a few things to try out first! I would of bought more but I would of bought everything off the website and my bank balance wouldn't be to happy if i had! I have separated my haul into three parts as there is a few photos and don't want to confuse a lot of you.

I'm going to do these products in categories of what they are!  So, ill start off with the lip glosses bought! These are very similar packaging to the Clinique chubby sticks which are £17/£22! I bought mine for £2.50! Which I thought was a complete bargain! I obviously done my research before hand about these beautiful glosses but decided I'd trust my own advice and bought them myself!  I bought two and they are called, ' coco loco' and ' flirty and girly'. ( photos below)

(Right, 'flirty and girly' and left ' coco loco')

The 'flirty and girly' lip gloss stick is my favourite! It is pink and has a hint of shimmer/glitter through the gloss! It applies so easily and you notice the difference straight away! It's easier to apply as its a stick and fills more of your lip faster and quicker than a normal lipstick would with a small wand! 'Coco loco' may not be my favourite but it is still a beautiful shade! I'd say its quite light and more brown/pink than the other gloss! It's more a mature colour so would be great even for wearing to work just for that little hint of shine on your lips, not to vibrant but you still feel more confident with a colour on your lips! Below are some skin testers of the products!

'Coco loco'

'Flirty and girly'

Why not go on my next blog post for the 'elf highlighting stick' you are going to love it! ;)
