McBusted's Most Excellent Adventure Tour | Review & Spoilers.

McBusted's tour has just kicked off and I was lucky enough to go to the first two dates in Glasgow. I splurged and spent £200 on Omfg tickets which is standing and the closest tickets to the stage and also VIP. On the second date I bought seating tickets to relax and to rest my feet from all the dancing I done the night before!

If you want a night filled with singing your heart out and dancing until you think your feet are going to fall off, then this tour is for you! They sing McFly and Busted hits which will bring you straight back to your younger years and also songs off their new album which if I do say so myself are incredible.

McBusted Live |

They kicked off the night with Air Guitar, the first song released by McBusted themselves which got the whole crowd jumping up and down, screaming from the top of our lungs. They sang other hits like Stargirl, 5 colours in her hair, Crashed the wedding and 3am and also a few McBusted songs like Get over it and Hate your guts.

Half way through the set they moved to the B stage, a Delorean car came down from the ceiling and McBusted stepped out and kicked off with Air-hostess which was incredible. After ending on the B stage with Beautiful Girls are the Loneliest, the place went dark and wedding music started playing. Fans were throwing confetti as Harry led the way while the rest of the boys were walking behind in wedding dresses which was absolutely hilarious, you might be able to guess what they started playing? Well I hope you do!

The energy the boys have whilst onstage 100% rubs off on the fans as the whole night everyone was on their feet, dancing. They interact with the crowd throwing out t-shirts and having a laugh among each other on stage which is refreshing as a lot of bands these days don't do that. It's lovely to see after 12 years of Mcfly and 2 years of McBusted the chemistry is still there.

McBusted Vip |

Once in your life you should splurge and get VIP to any of your favourite shows, as it was the best experience of my life. I have been lucky enough to meet Mcfly 6 times and McBusted twice now just by waiting at hotels, and through McFly's website. So when this opportunity came up I couldn't turn it down. The whole buzz of a meet and greet is incredible, everybody is standing in a line shaking, speaking about what they're going to say and do and it's just a lovely feeling that everyone is feeling the same way as you are.

With McBusted's VIP experience you got a commemorative ticket, lanyard and wristband. Then escorted through backstage until we stopped at a door. You could hear them cheering and talking, which hearing that made me shake like a leaf, even if I had met them before.

A group of six walk in. The door closed and our experience began. I was second up to meet them, I hugged Tom first and as he's my favourite member, I wouldn't shut up speaking to him. As I was about to move onto hug Dougie, Tom asked if he knew me, as he remembers me from meeting them outside the hotel they were at last year. I was completely shocked and it totally brought out my fangirl inside, I was speechless. Of course Dougie asked what we got up to in the hotel as he is the joker of the group! Typical! I then went round and met the rest of the band from Tom to Dougie, then James, Matt, Harry and Danny.  Matt, Harry and Danny thought my name was Keira, which after I corrected them they were shouting 'ohhh Karinaaaa, Karinaaa' which gave us all a good chuckle.

We got a group photo, and then a cupcake with 'D' on them, as it was Danny's birthday which was a lovely touch.

Have you been to see McBusted? Or even met them? What was your experience like?

There are still plenty of tour dates left to catch McBusted on tour, you can find them here.

Hollywood Ending | Anywhere Tour 2014 | Review.

It feels like I've just started to go back to reality after the McBusted tour, with Hollywood Ending supporting and then i was back on a train for 3 and a half hours to see and meet Hollywood Ending on their 'Anywhere' tour.  Here is a review of the Meet & Greet and Live Performance!

VIP.

Waiting outside the Glasgow O2 ABC in the roasting heat with my leather jacket on wasn't the brightest idea, but luckily i had my denim dress and pink and black vans to make up for the sweaty mess i felt like i was in. A 2 hour wait with friends felt like forever, so we bought a Scottish flag to waste time and wrote our twitter names on it. How original, i know!

The VIP crowd finally got called in, i was in no way nervous about meeting them as after all they are just normal people, but the atmosphere of the crowd and the fans shaking with nerves did pass on to me, and for the first time ever i was started to shake like a 12 year old fan girl!

As we walked in to the O2 it instantly felt calming, after the stress though of not being able to find a pen for them to sign my ticket, but a lovely girl passed us her gold pen, and for some reason i'm pretty sure we never gave it back, sorry! I walked up to Tyler, and he greeted me with the biggest hug, then to Cameron, Chris and finally Dan! They each complimented me with what i was wearing and my tattoo, and even Chris sang lyrics from their song Freak like me as i was the 'real rock chick wearing red lipstick'. I  had my favourite black snapback with gold spikes on, i just bought it but i thought id shove it on Tyler's head for our group photo! My friend Amy, even managed for us to get a second group photo, how lucky! I walked back over and told Tyler he could keep my snapback, and i'd just get another one! He was the sweetest and wouldn't stop hugging me and kept making sure i wasn't making a mistake by giving it to him, even got a cheeky kiss on the cheek to! (Photo's inserted below).

They done a quick 1 song acoustic set, and got a cheeky wink of Tyler as he walked on wearing my hat, and placed our flag on their drum kit for the remainder of their gig, i swear they had a thing for us!

GIG REVIEW.

They kicked of the night with their song Don't let me down and it got the whole crowd jumping and singing at the top of their lungs! They then performed songs from their Anywhere EP which was a crowd pleaser, and even added in a fan favourite, The Grocery Store Rap.

It was very up close and personal and the banter was flowing among the lads, they even got the fans interacting with them and each other! At one point Cameron even stripped which got ever girl in the room's heart racing! It was the hottest gig i have attended and i wasn't sure if it was because i was sweating or the fact the lads were grabbing fans and singing to them, we were all covered in their sweat, but none of us could complain!

If you want to go to a small, intimate gig then definitely give Hollywood Ending a look at! I'll leave all links down below, and links to the youtube videos i took while at the gig!

McBusted | The Ultimate Super Group | Glasgow Gig Review.

McFly and Busted got together last year and announced they'd be joining forces as a super group. With a lot of mixed reviews from McFly fans, myself included, i wasn't too sure if i liked the idea that my favourite band were stepping down from McFly and stepping up and giving all their time to Mcbusted. Charlie Simpson for personal reasons didn't want to join Mcbusted so Matt Willis and James Bourne really had to prove themselves and show that Mcbusted wasn't only going to jeopardise their careers but McFly's careers too!

I was lucky enough to attend 3/4 Glasgow dates on the Mcbusted tour, and this is my honest opinion on what i thought. There are still 4 dates to go on this tour, so if you live in England or Ireland you still have your chance to grab a last minute ticket and step on the Mcbusted band waggon!

*This contains spoilers*

The show opened with 2005 footage of Busted's split, and Charlie Simpson leaving the band. Matt and James had other ideas, and went back to the future, to join forces with McFly. McFly coming bursting through the stage floor (literally) while James and Matt come flying in on a DeLorean car. The crowd went crazy as they opened the show with Air Hostess. It was truly a magical experience to watch two fan bases come together as one, and dance the night away to old hits.

They played hits like, Year 3000, 5 Colours in Her Hair, Obviously, Who's David, Shine a Light and Thunderbirds Are Go. They also performed the hit "I Want You Back" by The Jackson Five, which had the crowd go into a frenzy as Danny Jones, Matt Willis and James Bourne showed a different side to them and done a choreographed dance to the hit and also shot McBusted t-shirts into the crowd through a T-shirt shooter, which on the last Glasgow date, exploded. Nobody was hurt though, thankfully!

Half way through the show they appeared on a UFO which transformed into a second stage. It got fans at the back closer to them which proved a crowd pleaser! Especially as front row tickets, aka, OMFG cost £160. A little pricey but 100% worth it.

There were hilarious jokes, a McBusted Pyramid and crowd interaction shared between the lads, and some video footage from Tom Fletcher's wedding speech which was hi-jacked by Matt and James, and also Dougie dressed as a clown.

As the ending came to a close, Matt Willis appeared in a wedding dress for Crashed The Wedding, which had us all in fits of laughter, then followed by All About you, a slow, emotional song to slowly close the show. Obviously it didn't end on a low point, they ended with Year 3000, had the whole crowd jumping and dancing along. A very uplifting number to end a phenomenal show!

All three shows i went to had a fantastic atmosphere, which isn't unusual for a McFly show, so i wasn't expecting it to be any different for McBusted. I'm sad to to see it all come to an end but happy that we could possibly have McFly going back and doing their own shows soon!

Did you go to a McBusted show? Which one? Did you enjoy it?
