How I Decorate My Bedroom At Christmas Time | Blogmas | Day 4

Christmas is my favourite time of year, and as well as decorating our living room, I also love to decorate my bedroom! So here is how I've decorated my bedroom! I Hope this gives you some inspiration and ideas!

As you can see I've not added tinsel to my tree, instead I added some silver and pink beads which i've never actually used for a tree before but I really like it! Also, there are pink and silver glittery baubles and even some love heart ones too, which I absolutely love!

As my tree is only 3ft tall, I feel like tinsel would drown it out so I've added some small rose gold type tinsel around my bed frame which i've wrapped around my fairy lights for a festive touch.

Fairy lights. So. Many. Fairy Lights! I just love them! I used battery powered lights for around the top and bottom of my bed frame and also around my curtain pole! I've also added some around my  dresser for a cute touch, but unfortunately I haven't added a photo of that as I forgot to buy more batteries.. silly me!

All the products in these photos are from Homebase apart from my christmas tree which is from Tesco. This all cost around about £24 (excluding my fairy lights around my bed which I received as gifts ) which I think is a pretty great price for the amount of products I purchased!

November Favourites | Blogmas | Day Three

Here are my November favourites.  I love this time of year as it's time for cosy nights in with candles and a good book! So here are my favourites throughout November.

Girl Online : On Tour | Zoe Suggs | If you haven't read Girl Online I'd advise you read that first as this is the follow up from that book. I managed to read this book in just under 2 days as there were that many ups and downs I just couldn't put the book down! I'd honestly give Zoe's books a read and check out her youtube channel and blog too!

Little Girl Gone | Alexandra Burt |. Just wow. This is quite a dark book but a book I'd definitely read again! So many twists in this book, your mind is constantly wondering what happens next and how it ends! A definite must read!

Little Mix | Gold Magic Perfume | I'm not a very fruity kind of person when it comes to perfumes but this is just devine! I love the packaging and you even get a little charm attached around the bottle too! If you are a lover of fruity scents or Little Mix give this a try!

Anastasia Beverly Hills | Self - Made Palette | This palette needs no introduction to my blog as I've already done a more detailed blog about this down below. Click here to read.

Blue Steel Nail Polish| Avon | I love this nail polish it's so pretty and with that subtle hint of blue through the silver it's beautiful when it catches in the light! You can't buy this product online but if you find your nearest Avon representative you can grab a catalogue and have a little nosey.

I Love You To The Moon And Back Sign | Homebase | This sign really means a lot to me. I clocked my eyes on it and instantly had to buy it! It's a thing that my boyfriend and I say to each other and really reminded me of how lucky I am to be in a fantastic relationship. That was so soppy.. i'm sorry!

Vanilla Satin Defuser | Yankee Candle | I absolutely love anything Vanilla. I bought this defuser a few months ago and decided November was the month to make my room smell lovely! Unfortunately I can't seem to find this defuser on their website but they have a huge selection of others to choose from!

What's in your November favourites?

ANASTASIA Beverly Hills | Self- Made Palette

I am an absolute sucker for pretty palettes. I could spend hours and hours going through websites, page after page trying to find my next palette i'd be obsessing over. Then I came across this beauty. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made palette. I mean, look how gorgeous it is!?

This palette cost me £27 from Beauty Bay and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I'm so excited to post tutorials from this palette in the next few weeks, as each shade is gorgeous and so pigmented! The colours last so long when they are on and i've had so many compliments whenever i wear this palette! These are the perfect colours for Autumn/Winter except the green shade which i'm still unsure what look to do with this but excited to see what I come up with!

Have you bought this palette? If so, what are your favourite shades?

Urban Decay | Smoky Palette.

I received the Urban Decay Smoky palette about 3 weeks ago. I can easily say, it's by far my favourite palette from the Urban Decay range. I always tend to go for a smoky eye, so I knew i would completely fall in love with it!

There are a lot more shimmery shades in this palette, which at first I was a little sceptical about, as I would normally prefer matte (due to the shimmer going everywhere) but I can't fault this palette one bit. It's just incredible!
This look is by far, my most favourite and I get a lot of compliments when I do go for this. Even my boyfriend says how incredible my eyes look and I mean, come on, do guys really notice when you change your shadows?

First of all, I use the Urban Decay Primer Potion and apply to my eyes which will help keep my eye shadow from creasing and give a longer lasting look!  Next, I take Combust, which is a taupe shade and I apply that as a base to my lids. I then take Slanted (Metallic grey) which I apply to the crease of my eyes. After that, I take Armor (metallic silver) and start applying that to the inner and outer corners of my eyes, leaving a space in the middle which I will then fill with Dirtysweet (bronze). Blend and reapply until you are happy with your finished look. A great dupe for Dirtysweet is Barry M's Bronze Gold which I use more so on nights out to give a more dramatic finish.

Then I start with my normal make up routine, beginning with my LOreal Paris Superstar Eye Liner and on this look I done just a small flick at the corner of my eyes.  Staying with eye liners, on my waterline I use Rimmel London Kohl Eye Pencil in Jet Black which I am still trying out but I am quite liking this product so far. Finally I apply L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara on my top and lower lashes.

To complete my look, I go back to my palette and take Armor and using an angled brush put it under my lower lash line. And ta-da, my finished eye look. You may add fake eyelashes which I would of done if had any handy at the time.

Let me know what your favourite smoky eye look is. I'd love to know!

August Favourites 2015.

I haven't done a favourites blog in a while and that's just down to the fact I haven't came across anything new that I've fallen in love with. But the past month I've came across quite a few things, so here they are..

Top: Please Me
Bottom: Fabby

Connor Franta | A Work in Progress : This book is very inspirational and when reading I couldn't help but sit and re-evaluate my life and life decisions. Also it was just great to sit and read about one of my favourite youtubers and his back story. If you have lost inspiration and aren't quite to sure what to do with life i'd buy this. He speaks the truth and this book helped me a lot! Also check him out on youtube too if you haven't already!

Mac Lipstick | Fabby & Please Me : On a recent trip to Glasgow I thought I'd treat myself to some Mac lipsticks! I wanted some killer nude lipsticks as I own way too many reds and purples and not enough every day shades! 'Fabby' is a frost shade which I haven't owned before but it's becoming one of my favourite shades even if it does rub off quite quickly (well for me anyway) and 'Please Me' is matte which I'd personally wear on a night out as it doesn't rub off as much as 'Fabby' does.

Demi Lovato | Path to Fame : I am a massive Demi fan so when this app was released I was glued to my phone for hours playing! This app is about living a life of fame in the music industry and the struggles along the way. You have to make decisions which could either ruin your friendship, relationships or sabotage your fame. It's a slight glimpse into what can really happen when you are put into those positions. I give this app 10/10 and I really hope you love this as much as I do!

Maybelline Face Master Sculpt | Contour : This contour kit is great if you are just a newbie to contouring or if you have a budget. Only costing £6.99 you can't really go wrong with this! I'd 100% recommend buying this before you go and buy high end as contouring isn't for everyone! But since buying this I can't live without it!

Zoella | Lets Spritz Body Mist : Being a Zoe Sugg fan I couldn't wait to try out all of her range. But this little bottle stood out from them all! I haven't gone a day in the past month without having this on! It has such a fresh smell to it, I can't even explain how amazing it smells! Your definitely missing out if you don't have this product in your life.
