November Favourites | Blogmas | Day Three

Here are my November favourites.  I love this time of year as it's time for cosy nights in with candles and a good book! So here are my favourites throughout November.

Girl Online : On Tour | Zoe Suggs | If you haven't read Girl Online I'd advise you read that first as this is the follow up from that book. I managed to read this book in just under 2 days as there were that many ups and downs I just couldn't put the book down! I'd honestly give Zoe's books a read and check out her youtube channel and blog too!

Little Girl Gone | Alexandra Burt |. Just wow. This is quite a dark book but a book I'd definitely read again! So many twists in this book, your mind is constantly wondering what happens next and how it ends! A definite must read!

Little Mix | Gold Magic Perfume | I'm not a very fruity kind of person when it comes to perfumes but this is just devine! I love the packaging and you even get a little charm attached around the bottle too! If you are a lover of fruity scents or Little Mix give this a try!

Anastasia Beverly Hills | Self - Made Palette | This palette needs no introduction to my blog as I've already done a more detailed blog about this down below. Click here to read.

Blue Steel Nail Polish| Avon | I love this nail polish it's so pretty and with that subtle hint of blue through the silver it's beautiful when it catches in the light! You can't buy this product online but if you find your nearest Avon representative you can grab a catalogue and have a little nosey.

I Love You To The Moon And Back Sign | Homebase | This sign really means a lot to me. I clocked my eyes on it and instantly had to buy it! It's a thing that my boyfriend and I say to each other and really reminded me of how lucky I am to be in a fantastic relationship. That was so soppy.. i'm sorry!

Vanilla Satin Defuser | Yankee Candle | I absolutely love anything Vanilla. I bought this defuser a few months ago and decided November was the month to make my room smell lovely! Unfortunately I can't seem to find this defuser on their website but they have a huge selection of others to choose from!

What's in your November favourites?

Glossy Box Reveal.

I can't believe it's been a year since my first glossy box! So I thought I'd do a glossy box reveal, since I haven't done one in a while!
For once I have received a glossy box full of stuff which I will actually use and not just shove in the bottom of my make up drawer to forget about! So here is a description of what I got and the prices!

Bellapierre Cosmetics Minteral Lipstick.

I've never heard of this brand before so I'm excited to try this lipstick out! This is in the shade Cat Walk, it's more of a peach shade but got pink shimmer tones through it. I think this is beautiful and glides on your lips gorgeously! This is perfect for summer as it includes Vitamin C and Vitamin E and also protects lips against the sun, which most people forget to do, as lips can burn to!

Colour Club | Glossy Seal

I have never owned or seen a shade like this before! I completely fell in love with it when I opened up my box this month! I only applied one coat and it looked flawless but an extra few coats wouldn't harm either! I'm going to wear this to work now and hope that it doesn't chip, and keep you posted on it. This is a glossy box exclusive but why not go on and look at all the shades, I'll be definitely buying more!

 ABSOLUTE New York Eyeshadow Primer

This is the second eye shadow primer I own. My go to primer is the Urban Decay Primer Potion so I'm definitely going to try this and see if this is just as good! This is a cheaper alternative so yet again I will keep you updated on what I think of it.

Carmex Lip Balm

This wont be a stranger to most of you as this is a very popular lip balm. This is my go-to lip balm as I don't particularly like Vaseline, It's just too slimy and greasy for my liking.  So excited to have another tin to keep in my handbag! The link I'm leaving to buy it has a 3 for 2 on Carmex at the moment so definitely check that out!

Dr Bronner's Magic Liquid Soap

I've not used this yet, but might give it a bash and see what's it's like. It doesn't smell the nicest but it's full of organic products and also safe to use on babies too! So it must not be that bad!

Have you used OR going to use any of these products?

Barry M | Limited Edition

I have a lot of Barry M nail polish. At least once a month i will go into my local boots or superdrug and spend a fortune on all things Barry. So when i wandered in a few weeks ago and clocked this gorgeous limited edition polish i had to buy it and try it out!

These photos don't do it justice, it's really hard to photograph such a pale pink glittery polish as it doesn't show up great. None the less, i wanted to show you and you can even try it out yourself as it's definitely not a let down!

A light pink polish with multi-coloured glitter a perfect shade for a night out or just to go for that little bit extra at Christmas time. Two coats to add extra sparkle makes your nails stand out from the crowd! Do note though, it does get a little messy when applying.. glitter gets everywhere. If you are a little less clumsy than me though you might apply it just right with no mess at all! I got this for £3.99 which i thought was such a great buy!

Have you tried it out? Let me know down below in the comments.

NEW Barry M 'MATTE' Nail Polish

Barry M have recently revealed there new MATTE nail polishes. MATTE is the new trend for AW/13, the colours black, cream and berry also fall into the category. These are cheap and affordable and will make your nails look fantastic and give off that 'grunge' look which is oh so popular at the moment.

The MATTE Barry M Polishes come in 5 different colours at the affordable price of £3.99 from Superdrug and Boots.

They come in the gorgeous colours, Crush (Shown above in photo), Mocha (brown), Vanilla (Nude), Caramel (light brown) and Espresso (black). Apply a base coat and then a second coat to give off the gorgeous finish as shown above! It's very easy to apply and they don't chip easily. Have fun with it, it gives off such a beautiful finish and the different texture compared to other nail polishes will get heads turning!

Tell me what you think! What's your favourite colour?

Maybelline Haul.

Around about 2-3 weeks ago i was at London Fashion Weekend, and was lucky enough to get some free Maybelline products and buy two Maybelline boxes for £10 each. I saved around about £15 - £20 in these boxes as i got 5 products in each box and considering 1 product is about £5 each this was definitely a great buy!

The two boxes i bought were, 'Popping Pout' and 'Elegant Punk' as these had more gothic and darker colours in them, great for those Autumn/Winter months.

Popping Pout

Firstly i'll tell you the name and prices of these products and then go into detail!

Master Smoky Eyeliner (black): £5.99
Great Lash Mascara: £4.99
Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara (dark brown): £4.99
Colour Sensational Vivids Collection (Hot Plum): £7.19
Neon Collection Nail Polish ( Fuschia Fever): £2.99

This brow mascara is so unusual to me! I mean I've seen this before but i was always to scared to buy it in case it looked like i had really bad and thick caterpillar eyebrows! So i took the plunge after staring at this for a good week, and tried this on a night out! I got soo many compliments from my friends about my eyebrows and couldn't believe this little tube of goodness could do it! Definitely try it! If not use eye shadow or an eye pencil to fill out your eye brows as you will not believe the difference it makes!

I tried this mascara once, and then passed it onto my mum as she does like her beauty products to! I did love this mascara and i asked her what she thought of it as i couldn't really judge it on just the one time using it, and she adores it! It's in her daily make up look and it makes her lashes look luscious!

This is a eye shadow and a eye pencil! I have only used this as an eye pencil on my water line, and i do like it as it applies quite thick, but it smudges under my eyes after a few hours so i need to go back and wipe my panda eyes again, then reapply! It's my only flaw with this product!

This is my favourite nail polish colour ever!! When i got it, i put it over my light blue nail polish i had on as i was that excited and it turned out amazing!! But, putting it on, on it's own it does need a good few coats to turn out a bright neon colour! So you could either put a base on first or keep applying this until it's the perfect colour for you!

Isn't this gorgeous!? I do love this even if it doesn't entirely suit my skin tone! I'm sure i can mix and match though and get it to suit me somehow! It's so pigmented and i'd definitely go and grab a Maybelline lipstick! I have a few now and they are my favourites!

Elegant Punk

Mega Plush Mascara (black): £7.99
Superstay 14hr Lipstick (Continuous Cranberry): £6.99
Drama Gel Eyeliner (black): £7.99
Nail Lacquer (electric pink and blackout): £2.99 each

I already had this product, and so glad i got another! Here's my previous blog post on it!

I love these two colours, i love black especially coming up for winter time and i always seem to wear bright pinks on nights out, especially when i wear a black dress just to add some colour to my outfit! Make up and nails are always good for brightening up a look! Just like the other nail polish (above) my only flaw is that you need to add a few extra coats to your nails!

I'm not 100% sure that it does actually stay on for 14 hours as mine didn't! (It could be different for others) but it never did for myself! I do love this red though! It's matte and just gorgeous! It reminds me a lot of the Kate Moss lipsticks which i have a lot of! The girl who sold me this actually wore this and that's why i bought the box as i fell in love with the colour on!

I use this every single day along with my other Maybelline mascara, 'the falsies'. I tend to switch between both but i do love this as well! I'm just a huge sucker for Maybelline mascara, it's my favourite!

Bonus items

I got given this 'Mollie' Maybelline lipstick for free, well.. 3 of them for free! ( i am a sucker for all things free). Mollie King from the girlgroup 'the saturdays' teamed up with Maybelline and produced this beauty! It's a bright pink and you honestly don't need a lot of eye make up at all! Just nude eyes, with either black mascara or false eye lashes and this on your lips and you are set! Definitely go out and buy this, i think it's £7.99 in superdrug and boots!

I got this as a freebie to! It's a electric red with little bits of glitter through it! It is gorgeous on, really reminds me of christmas and gets me in the christmas spirit!

Any questions, feel free to ask!

Elf beauty haul, final part!

This is the beauty products i was the most excited about receiving as i am a nail polish junkie! I have so many i have lost count! When i found these on Elf i couldn't resist and had to buy it! What did i buy? 14 nail polishes! I might sound mad to you all but these 14 nail polish come in a cube for £15! You get a light cube and a dark cube! I got the lighter one to start off with as its more the colours i wear on a day to day basis! I thought £15 for 14 of them was amazing value as i tend to buy essie and barry m, and for essie it is about £8 just for 1! They apply on so easily and you guys are all missing out!

The photo of my beautiful colourful cube!

If any of you would like a closer look at them or to see what some look like on, just give me a comment below or tweet and i will do that for you!

I hope you enjoyed my beauty haul and i will have another elf haul, very very soon! Excited to hear from you!

Magnetic Nail Polish

For new year i purchased Barry M's magnetic nail polish which i had seen advertised in a lot of magazines and thought i'd give it a go. I bought this in superdrug for £4.99, i did splash out a bit for nail polish but these days £4.99 isn't a bad price.

How does it work? Well, the lid of the nail polish is a magnet you can get them in different patterns. I went for diagonal. You paint a first coat of nail polish and leave to dry, then add a second coat. When you add the second coat, whilst applying each nail hover the magnet over your nail for about 10-20 seconds, the more you leave it, the more the design will show. As you can see in this picture i took of my nails you can see the stripes on it. It's such a lovely effect and your nails don't look boring.

You can get this nail polish in about 5 different colours, i picked a metalic colour. I got so many compliments on my night out when i wore this, and a lot of people were asking were i got it from. It's a must buy product. Everyone should have one of these in your make up bag!
